SUMMARY
The Field Service Manager must provide Leadership and direction of service staff, planning and organization of service operations. Technical competence and knowledge. Performs installation and service of machines. Takes care of all machine movement. Reviews sales invoices, service tickets and route envelopes. Oversee all service calls to the Service Techs. Field Service Managers are a backup staff for the Service Department. Field Service Managers organize the delivery routes, parts and product ordering and the POS ordering.

New employees will typically go to the ICEE training center (FCB University) for up to three weeks of training. Class is held in Louisville, Kentucky, or in Ontario, California. In addition, periodic training sessions will be conducted locally.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set weekly itinerary for branch (include work schedule and all projects).
* Recap goals and accomplishments.
* Monitor daily service orders.
* Review previous service orders with techs.
* Perform vehicle checks.
* Stress safety (including conducting weekly and monthly safety meetings).
* Problem solving for employees and accounts.
* Performance evaluations of service staff.
* Development of service staff.
* Training in various types of equipment in and out of the field.
* Ride with technicians at least two to three days a week. Keep progress reports.
* Training in equipment movements.
* Recognize and develop promote able staff.
* Parts and tool inventory control.
* Monitor of weekly parts ordering and control excessive parts inventories.
* Responsible for daily operations within assigned branch:
-Perform service as required and do excessive service follow-up.
-Check and total time cards.
-Set work schedules, holiday and vacation schedules.
-Cover for personnel who are out sick. React to employee’s unscheduled workdays off.
* Conduct weekly service meetings and weekly service recaps.
* Perform and assist / train machine installs, exchanges, and pulls.
* Perform and assist / train shop checkout of machines.
* Install pre-checks/install follow-ups.
* Monitor/change route schedules.
* Maintenance of warehouse as needed.
* Conduct machine operation instruction classes for customers.
* Responsible for communication with dispatcher to ensure prompt service.
* Weekly meetings with Account Executives and installers (if applicable) to set equipment movement schedules.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of (5) years working as a service technician or possess mechanical aptitude.
* Must have Technical or Vocational School background or related field
* Valid driver’s license.
